Athletic Program Requirements

Athletes who are accepted into the program must participate in on-site athletic development sessions at least once weekly at the Universal Sports Institute facility. 
 
Athletes must meet the following athletic eligibility requirements for acceptance into the program:
    1. Exhibit a desire and dedication to reaching their full potential as an athlete (The demonstration of a level of performance that places student athletes on a Regional, State, National, or Olympic track in their field is preferred, but not required). 
       
      Students who compete in events sanctioned by the United States Special Olympics or Paralympics governing bodies will be considered for approval based on the level of achievement in their respective sport that is commensurate with the competitive levels outlined above.
       
    2. Willingness to maintain an annual performance portfolio with athletic progress. 
         
Athletes must apply each year to USI’s program and enroll in Parkview School. 
***If you reside outside of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District boundaries but wish for your student-athlete to be considered for enrollment at Parkview School/USI you must first obtain an Interdistrict Attendance Agreement form from your home school district.
