NCAA Requirements

The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) has specific requirements for high school student-athletes to be eligible for college sports participation. Generally, students must meet academic standards by completing a certain number of core courses and maintaining a minimum GPA. Additionally, students must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center, formerly known as the NCAA Clearinghouse, to verify their academic and amateur status. Meeting these requirements ensures student-athletes are prepared academically and athletically to compete at the collegiate level while maintaining eligibility for scholarships and participation in NCAA-sanctioned events.

Our school counselor and Parkview principal will assist all USI student-athletes with NCAA eligibility requirements.
